Hi! My name's Olivia and I'm a homeschooling, fieldtrip-loving mom of five kiddos. They are ten, eight, six, six and three and they love all that this area has to offer in indoor and outdoor fun. For the past ten plus years we have biked, run, walked, dated, swam, splashed, investigated, toured and most of all PLAYED Chattanooga, and we would love to share our experiences with you here!
When I'm not homeschooling, carpooling, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry or gardening, I love to help out at Choices, PRC, read books, work on my other blog Of Such is the Kingdom, and write curriculum. I also teach ballet on Lookout Mountain (info on that here). Our family came home from Uganda with our latest two children in December. We are enjoying introducing them to America, and especially to all our favorite places in Chattanooga!
Thank you for this wonderful blog full of priceless nuggets about our incredibly fun city! I am discovering amazing places that I never knew existed just miles from our home. I am a homeschooling mom of 7 and your information has helped me much as I have planned our activities. I am also adopted myself and love seeing pictures of your beautiful family :)

Thank you for all of the ideas! We are a homeschooling family as well and new to the area. It is overwhelming trying to find new places to go and your blog is a big help. If you have suggestions for field trips without 2-3 hours of chattanooga, I would love to hear about them. Thanks!
